Although taken far too early, Glen lived life to its fullest. He was not a collector of things but rather people; curious about every person that he met with a knack for finding common ground with everyone. While occasionally forgetting a name, he never forgot a face and remembered those that he met 20 years ago. His proudest accomplishment was not his early successes in business but his three sons and the great individuals that they have come to be, also starting wonderful families of their own and providing him with five amazing grandchildren. Although family was always first, Glen’s second passion was travel. These travels allowed him to see amazing places and meet amazing people, many of whom are still friends today.
The family would like to thank Dr. Graeme McCauley, Dr. Kathea Clarke and all the nurses and staff of Unit 4B at Kelowna General Hospital, for the outstanding care and attention that they paid to Glen during his stay.
In respect of Glen's wishes, no formal service will be held. In true Glen spirit we will have a celebration in the spring with all of the people that Glen collected over the years. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Pancreatic Cancer Canada.
