 Carson Evan arrived early this morning to a huge fan fare from two sets of thrilled grandparents! Wow...we're way too young to be grandparents!!! But we will take it! Mom & Carson are doing just great and Dad is busy handing out cigars. Cannot wait to see grandson #!

 Tomorrow we load the car, drive to Madrid and then on Saturday morning, board a plane for home. We have been here for 33 weeks, driven over 60,000 kilometers, worn out a pair of runners, slept in over 200 different beds, tried to communicate in 4 or 5 different languages and seen more churches than I can name. It has been an incredible journey!!! The best part, besides all the amazing places we have seen, are the wonderful people we have met along the way. People all over Europe have welcomed us, helped us when we were lost or confused, opened their homes to us, shared wonderful meals with us, played tour guides for us and imparted invaluable travel advice. Where would we have been without them? And even though we are very excited to be going home and seeing friends and family again, we are definitely going to miss all the wonderful people we have had the opportunity to spend time with. Each of them in their own way has made this trip more memorable. We have seen some amazing sites, probably missed seeing some things we should have, but all the more reason to come back again!!!
