Bay of Arcachon

Toured Le Bassin d' Arcachon today, nothing spectacular but interesting just the same. Would we come back to this region, probably not. The architecture as described by their own journal is boring, concrete and steel, something that is out of the ordinary for this region. You have to wonder if the effects of World War II had an impact as may of the villages and cities were decimated. The family we have stayed with at our bed and breakfast were amazing as previously stated. Tomorrow morning, Leslie has us on our way to Sarlat du Caneda for a couple of days. We have another bed & breakfast booked.
