So other than my bike suffering a little road rash, it seems to be working better than ever. A little tough love never hurt anyone. After closer examination, I noticed a cactus thorn stuck in the rear tire. I pulled out the thorn and within 15 seconds, the tire was completely flat! I have been carrying around a bottle of "Green Slime" for the past 5 years, hearing all sorts of rave reviews on the product but too lazy to let the air out of the tires and give it a shot. People in the desert have been using it in their tires for years and swear by it. Well better late than never! My tire was flat with a hole the size of the thorn I pulled out. I removed the valve stem, poured in a small amount of "Green Slime" and gave the tire a few spins, got out my electric pump and began to fill the tire. Initially, I could hear air coming from the tire but within a few seconds, the escaping air ceased and the tire began to fill to 55 psi. To my amazement, the Green Slime did the trick with little or no effort. I am a believer!!!!
