Today is a decompression day where we really need some down time and more importantly, some clean underwear...LAUNDRY DAY! Laundry mats are a rarity in Europe especially in the part of France we are touring. We really lucked out on our latest stay in the small historic village of Saint Martial de Nabirat. The Domaine Le Magnolia is owned by Irene and Gérard, an amazing couple who keep the place immaculate. We are here for another 2 days before our trip to Annecy, another very popular spot. I think we are just beating the tourist rush which brings 1000's to this very popular region.
The weather has been hotter than usual, hovering around 30C degrees or 90F over the past 5 days. I (Glen) am a real tennis fan and the final of the French Open is on in an hour so I will be hooked to the tube, watching the game and learning more French.
