This morning we toured the historic village and the famous Stari Most Bridge, originally constructed in 1566 . The town is unique and very cool. If just so happened when we were leaving the village and crossing the bridge, it is common for young men to jump the from the bridge to the water below...for money of course. We couldn't believe our eyes, this crazy fool is going to JUMP?? We he did and it was terrifying to watch.
We spent a few hours in Mostar before leaving for Sarajevo. The 2 hour drive was uneventful with not much to see. We arrived at our apartment about 2 pm after some serious searching (nothing is easy to find in Europe). These roads trumped the roads in Trogir as once again, you pretty much have to be a mountain goat to reach the destination. Poor little Peugeot is really getting a work out this trip!
Relaxing this afternoon and will head to old town Sarajevo tomorrow.
