It has been a very difficult 9 months! Losing a brother and going back to work has definitely been a major shock to the system. So it was time for another Glen & Leslie adventure but this one is a little different. We decided to hit the road and to visit family & friends we have not seen in some time. We are all quick to throw out the cliché "lets get together soon" and unfortunately, sometimes the actions to follow come a little too late. We decided not to let that happen so last Sunday, quite spontaneously, we packed up the car and hit the road for 2-3 weeks with a 2-3 day stop at our various destinations, Calgary, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, Lake of The Woods, Selkirk and who knows where along the way.
Leslie and I have been kept extremely busy operating the company on behalf of the family and it has not been without it's challenges, but we are seeing light at the end of the tunnel. Miles's 15 years of hard work is finally starting to pay dividends, just too bad he is not here to reap the rewards after all his labour.
Life continues to pass us by way to quickly but we cherish each and every day with our good fortune and the love of family & friends. I don't know how we would have managed without them.
