Got up at 5 am for our flight to Phoenix via Los Angeles on United Airlines, Air Canada Partner. Arrived at Kelowna "International" (JOKE) Airport at 6 am for our flight to L.A., scheduled departure 7:50 am. Upon arrival at the airport, we were advised that all the computers for Air Canada/United Airlines were down, plus our flight was delayed one hour due to mechanical issues the night before. An hour later we were told the flight would be delayed another hour because the flight crew was still asleep at their hotel (that's a new one and probably true!). We eventually left 2 hours and 15 minutes after the scheduled departure, just in time to miss our connecting flight to Phoenix by 10 minutes. We went through quite an ordeal to rebook another flight to Phoenix but finally did through U.S. Airlines, departing LAX at 4:10 pm. GOOD OLD AIR CANADA, a disaster every time we have booked with them. I really do hate this airline and will make every attempt to fly another when possible. Bad service has always been a constant with good old Air Canada and they never seem to run out of excuses.
