Lunch doesn't get any better. Today was our best day since arriving on European soil May 30. The drive to Dubrovnik was stunningly beautiful. Dubrovnik itself looks pretty spectacular and we hope to tour the old village tonight after it cools down a bit. We lucked out again and rented a studio apartment overlooking the sea. It almost makes you not want to leave your room.
We didn't that we were driving through Bosnia for a period of about 5 minutes, just enough to be held up at two border crossings, one entering Bosnia and the other back in to Croatia. Very seldom do you see a manned border crossing in Europe these days and I often wonder what goes on with little to no policing on what is crossing country to country.
This place looks so incredible and our digs our so nice, we may extend our stay from 2-4 days before making our way north.
